Some minor seepage is not abnormal. To totally stop it, it would need a new seal.

Is it leaving a puddle? If so - get on it and get it fixed. If it's just wet, probably OK.

Hey guys, i'm doing some wiring, and I need to find a highbeam trigger wire in the dash.

I'm looking to get a splice off this highbeam wire to the OEM switch panel/cigar lighter area, so closest to there would be best

$1000 per jeep reduction?

Corporate is mandating $1000 reduction per jeep, what zones are you looking to trim.
My votes: lighten up the unlimited by 500 lbs.
How can you cut weight and cost?
Rhino coat instead of carpet?
Take off plastic trim (but paint under it).
Simple light cheap slider window doors?

Thank you all for your feedback on the headliner for the Hardtop! We would want to make it to cover the majority of the interior surfaces. Thanks again.

It sounds like you have a pinion seal leak. At the very least you should check the level of the fluid. A minor leak can look like a lot of oil, but over time will diminish the fluid level. It's also possible there may be grease coming from the u-joint which should also be checked. If you are not comfortable looking at these items have your dealer inspect them.

I searched the other qtr engineer threads but couldnt find an answer to my question so hopefully this hasnt been asked already. I just purchased a 08 2 door Wrangler X and I dont have a passenger airbag disable light like all the 07's seem to have. Next to my hazard light is just a blank. It appears some 08s have this option while others do not ? Do you know why the disable sensors in the passenger seat are only in certain 08 vehicles ?

Best thing to do would be to get a factory shop manual at www.techauthority.com

Be careful tapping into existing circuits though, we design the circuit protection around the "factory" load placed on the circuit. Adding any additional load could cause some problems.

Alright, i'll look into getting a shop manual then.

I'm just using this tap to trigger a relay for my Aux. Lights.

While we are always trying to control costs of the vehicles we offer, we are currently not under a edict to remove $1000 per vehicle. Thanks for the suggestions.

Hi, I have a '97 TJ which loses fan speed when on the highway.
The fan is on med-hi and after maybe half an hour I'm down to
a trickle out of the vents. After an hour parked it works fine, like
nothing was wrong. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.
