The JK does have an above center or high pinion front axle for both the base 30 model and Rubicon 44 model as an improvement over TJ. Thanks for your question.

Is there a reason why you guys (DC) don't tolerate lifts under warranty?

I mean, it is a Jeep after all

Thanks!

also I have been turned down by the dealership recently after my blower motor stopped working, they didn't want to fix it under warranty because they said I submerged my Jeep under water(2006 wrangler)

now honestly I did go through a few puddles, but if I remember correctly in the 2006 wrangler brochure it said it could go up to x amount of inches of water...just thought what your opinions were on such events.

Thanks again!

So there was no real testing done on this?? Would you say it would be safe to tow up to 4K or maybe 4.5K lbs without problems?

The heated seats from Check Corp should be standard on Sahara by the way (:

I would second the above question on towing capacity v. Liberty.

How is it possible that this thing does not get better in city mileage than my old, crappy, 15 year old Isuzu Trooper with the even more crappy (and infamous) GM 2.8L V6 engine in it? I have the JK Sahara with auto in it by the way.

How much can I trust the rain gutters on the hard top? Can I put a ski rack or something like that on there without worrying about breaking those rain gutters?

We pay as much attention to fuel economy as possible while keeping true to the Jeep roots. The JK is 200 - 400 lbs heavier than the TJ and the 3.8L is more fuel efficient than the 4.0L.

As far as the ski rack, we do not recommend mounting anything on the roof.

Can't comment on the pricing, but can say with reasonable certainty that you will need to paint them. Mopar sheetmetal parts come primed and ready to paint. There would undoubtedly be an additional cost for painting them, but this of course will vary from dealer to dealer.

Those are good questions because I would never consider lifting my Jeep or driving it through significant water (or doing other kinds of things with it) as long as it is under warranty - and I get the 7/85/0 extended service plan too.

Comment: Thanks for keeping SOLID AXELS in the JK!!!!!

Question: Some people reported failure in TJ Rubcon factory lockers when they used larger tires. Have you done anything to address this on the JK? Can you tell us more about the JK Rubi factory lockers?

Sir,

In Canada, the half doors should be available now for the 2-door Rubicon. For the 4-door, the half-door will be launching soon, should be within a couple of months. Thank-you.

Part of it was economies of scale. We were the only platform using the 4.0L. The 4.0L was a great power plant but we wanted to improve fuel economy. Since the 4.0L was so popular we picked a similar powerplant from those available in the company.

What is the voltage directly applied to the motor on the JK electric swaybar, for both disconnecting and reconnecting?

Is it determined/output by a circuit board inside the motor assembly itself, or does the voltage carry through directly from the harness?

Thanks...

What are the chances Jeep will bring back the Comanche, or another pickup?
