Yes, it is working as programmed... but what I was hoping to hear is that the program could be changed to update based on different logic when the transfer case is in 4 high or 4 low.
I doubt many people are in 4 high or 4 low when stuck in LA traffic...

Engine torque will rock the engine up on the left side - put it in park, engine off, hood up and gently rock the vehicle forward and back - listen for the same noise and try to pinpoint it. There is also a normal wistle on tip in with some throttle bodys.

Have you guys heard of (or experienced) the glitch where pressing the unlock button on the RKE will cause the Jeep to honk and the radio to come on (I guess basically the Jeep goes into 'ACC' mode)? It has happened to many of us, but very irregularly. Does it sound like this would be the RKE communications messing up, or the main computer or what?

I have a popping noise coming from under the floor towards the passenger side of the jeep. I only get it after flexing or heavy cornering (any transfer case position). Assuming everything is at the proper torque specs, what else could cause this noise? Bad U-Joint in the front driveshaft?

Check the trac bar .. tighten it. Side to side is usually Trac Bar
Could be the exhaust mount on the skid plate too.... look at it, make sure the isolator is there...

Transparent Freedom Top panels?
Some people on the board saw transparent Freedom Top panels at the last Camp Jeep. Word was that Mopar might have something this year. Any word on when?
Re: What do I want on engine options? I'd love an efficient diesel. The 4.?L Cummins we're hearing about sounds like too much for a 4200 lb Wrangler Unlimited. Something in the 2.5 - 3.0L range with at least 300 ft lbs torque at 1800 rpm.

I had a 2000TJ before I traded for my 2006 LJ. Why is the seating position so different between the two - seems like the LJ seats are an inch or two lower than the 00 TJ seats. Was there a reason for changing it?

2008 Sahara 4 door and LOVE it eccept for the lack of power on long hills at 40 and above. Why do the RPMs drop over 40 mph even when the foot feed is steady. You must stuff the accelorator or down shift to keep speed up. Oh automatic trans here
thanks

Thanks Now hypothetically speaking, lets assume everything is torqued down and tight. What else could cause the popping?
Just to clarify:
I get it on the first few subsequent turns taken at a slow/normal speed, following heavy articulation (flexing, heavy cornering). Then it isn't heard again till the suspension is flexed again.
