6lbs max usually. I have seen it go as high as 10. I don't push the engine hard (as in drag racing... do the stoplight drags count???) Mostly, when under moderate throttle position (35-45% throttle indicated on the ScanGauge, uphill, towing, passing), it runs 1-2lbs, and maybe 5-6 when passing. The one time it hit 10 I had it floored due to a miscalculation in oncoming traffic distance.

Bad t case switch.. or t case lever adjustment.

Easy to fix... if you like that kind of stuff

The light is actuated by the lever actually being in the 4wd position. You may not have 4wd, even though the lever is in 4wd. Take it to a competent mechanic.

Not engine. Sounds like it is coming from the vicinity of the bellhousing, but that's hard to tell. But not an axle-related noise, coming from the center of the vehicle. Engine mount? Trans mount? What else would twist when you step on the gas and make a rubber-like chirp?

Bet its a violent pop out event, right ???
Well the gear is just beginning to engage (moving from N to 2), so i'm not sure if that would constitute 'popping out'. I wouldn't call it violent, but enough to feel. If I pause my shift for a second it just slips into gear like nothing happened.

I have the 7 year powertrain warranty, so I believe it may still be covered, but i'd rather fix it myself if possible.

I would look at the TPM (tire pressure monitor) will ding and not set a code I would recommend that the dealer make sure the WCM antenna is properly routed in front of the shifter ,,,,there is a TSB on the antenna routing

Just out of curiosity, what departments or sections of the jeep do you guys work on? Like, are some of you in the room engine or tranny or suspension engineers or do you all wear all of the hats?

In the afternoon, when it was clearly like 70 degrees outside, the display still showed something silly like 45 degrees which was the temperature in the morning when we started.

Can you guys correct the programming to sense the temperature all the time when in 4 wheel drive?

the CCN (Cluster) software program is working properly..I know it is annoying however the cluster does not know if you are 4wheeling or stuck in LA traffick..sorry

The next question would be about how to get the Jeep to pass emissions successfully (I know the parts required of an exhaust system, just am not sure which model year parts to use). Any help is greatly appreciated.
Sorry, But we don't have ready access to the laws in your state, so I can't answer that question. The engine would be a great project to build, but if you are going to use it on the street, check with your local DMV first about registering it!

Our group here consists of various disciplines and some of us are involved with future product but as you are probably aware, we cannot talk about future products or ideas. We can say that we looked at different ideas for the top before coming up with the Freedom Top and we're very pleased with the tremondous success it is having in the marketplace. We are always considering new ideas and appreciate your suggestions. Thank-you !!

Although we can't comment on future products, I can tell you designing the vehicle is a team approach with input from many groups ....all with the goal of satisfying our customers. And since all of us are Jeep advocates, you can be sure our voice is heard!
