What a brilliant design! This kind of outside-the-box, practicality driven engineering is what's so sorely missing these days from the lineup of custom rig products!!! So with that, I'll raise you one....HOW ABOUT LEXAN DOORS? People FINALLY wouldn't have to choose between a better spotter's view during rock crawling, and protection during water fording!!!!

The LID idea is pretty cool but $650 is a little steep for most.
