Getting out of the Jeep business to focus on building fast cars and racing our racecar. The business was for sale turn key a while back, but now I am selling the inventory and most of the equipment. Some of it I am moving to my home shop to keep running the business as a small musclecar and hot rod shop with my kids. I am going to list this complete before I start selling off equipment. I am currently not adding any new vehicles but I am continually stripping the remaining vehicles and inventorying the parts. I plan on keeping the one open floor lift, my torch and welder, toolbox, trailer, and desk. Everything else goes. There is a floorplate Bendpak lift with a newer power unit, Eagle tire machine and balancer, Wayne air compressor with lines, pallet racking and shelves, and the lease includes close to an acre of land for vehicle storage. Comes with close to $50k in used parts inventory and about 6 salvage vehicles. A couple complete vehicles that you can sell or part as well. Also has a large quantity of engines, transmissions, axles, wheels, and other parts that have not been inventoried. I run the business part time, so I just don't have the ability to take the business to where it is heading with the amount of time I have. I'd rather be home with my kids building cars that are my real passion. It would be a great opportunity for someone to move into the industry with a low overhead shop that can be grown quickly and easily. Most equipment is newer and works great. All current inventory on shelves is listed in eBay store that I will turn over to buyer. This is over 100+ hours of work to get these listed. All parts are binned by vehicle, inventoried by stock number, and very easily searchable to find parts that are in inventory. This business is very easy to run. We have a lot of repeat customers and drive by customers, so we can spread the word for you as well. I know how to do this and can show you what to do, but with us running the business how I have been with the time I have it would create more work than I can handle. This business has grown from $300 borrowed dollars 5 years ago to a business bringing in $100k in annual gross revenues.
Asking $50k. This is a great opportunity for someone, all parts are binned and labeled and you can start making money on day 1. I'll even help for a couple weeks to show you how to buy at auctions and how to run some things. My business is NOT included in this, I do have a good friend who is a lawyer who can set up your business if you are just starting. I am basically hanging you the equipment and inventory and you do the rest. Lease is transferable and can be extended. Shop is 2500sqft and 2 bay doors. Will also sell parts separate from equipment, but parts must go before equipment.
I know I'm not a vendor, but figured maybe it was ok to post here because maybe one of the vendors might be interested in buying out the shop.
