Just remember with the adapter style from carolina, if something goes wrong with the ends, you can't get a direct replacement from an autoparts store. You will have to order a custom piece from carolina. This is the main disadvantage to it.

Did you just mark the nut location, and retighten it down to that point or a little past it? I did this and haven't had a problem.

I really don't know much about the RC kit, but the few things I have heard were negative. Anyone else know?

Well like I said I don't know much but heard the CA's and the shocks were no good. But honestly I don't know if that was the RC kit or somethin else. Didn't mean to come across as rude RCJEEP. I'm open to anything but most importantly looking for somethin that will be reliable.

Nah man, I didn't take it as rude. I was just trying to help you out and answer any questions, comments that you had.

I think that you will find that these adjustable arms are pretty nice. They are built from a heavier tubing are adjustable and will flex much better than those fixed arms that you are looking at. Just an option for you to check out.

Here is some additional information about the 2.2 performance shocks. They are a step up from basic white shocks.
Rough Country Performance 2.2 Series Shocks

Let me know if I can help ya out.

I've got the 4" Zone on a '99 that has the Rezeppa-Rezeppa shaft in it & I haven't had any issues at this point. I've had the lift on since late summer. I am very pleased with it. I added the JKS quicker disconnects & a steering stabilizer with the Zone order & then ordered the ADDCO rear bar from IRO.

Let me know & I will answer any specific questions. The install went fairly quick with very little help from my wife.

BHand,

first of all thanks for the shout out. if i could do it over again starting today i would take a good long look at that new RC kit. it comes with everything i bought separately for cheaper. it would end up saving you a good amount of money. the one bad thing about RC on the forum is that their kit rides rough hence the name but IMO hey its a jeep

good luck with your build
