nope mostly ZJ fenders notice how the line on the fender runs all the way through the headlights and the fender on that ZWJ cut off say bout an inch short!

im thinkin its just a few inches off the WJ fenders maybe 4 to 5 inches

thats a clean install i wonder if tht guy used a lot of bondo because there is no way he welded that so perfect!

But see how the part that follws the hood into the windshield curves up, just like in a WJ.

ya your right maybe its like 4 inches from the front and the whole deal from the top because there is no way that the hood would line up with the other fenders!

nice find speedycat!

I found it also, read my post.

Looked at my neighbors WJ, and the fenders look like they would line up, maybe a hole drilled here or there. The hood would mount differently also, but I would like to get my hands on a full front clip from a WJ because I think thats the only way its happening.

Do you think he really spent that much?

Its probably made with parts that were already around and custom built by the owner.

I can't see somebody going out and buying new or good condition parts for top $ and then paying labor to install them for a job like this.

This is homebrew thinking at its finest.

Think about it I have been to many import car shows that people have basically made thier cars un recognizable. For instance I went to Englishtown, NJ a couple of years ago. There was a 96 Honda Accord which had Mercedez Benz clk front and rear and turned into a convertible too. Which i thought was pretty cool. I understand its all about the worksmanship and all and after all that is done your glad to have mad a unique creation. I give you guys high five for doing that. But the ZJ does look awesome with the wj front!!

i highly doubt he spent over 5 Gs to do this!!!
at the most he spent a good 5 hundred!

he probably did all the work and if he could paint he probably spend 200 bucks...

i think it look good and all he needs to do is change the cross rails entire setup to the WJ its a full bolt on replacement

The fenders bolt up differently and so does the hood. Compared my neighbors WJ to my ZJ and it looks like the fenders would have to be redrilled to mount onto the ZJ, and the hood would either have to use the WJ mount system which would be custom work on the ZJ or the ZJ mounts with a special bracket to make it all line up. As for the front clip/headlight mounting bracket, I have yet to confirm whether that would bolt up or not.

in reality, it looks great on the outside but its probably held together with duct tape and zip ties under the hood.

anyone think the fenders might be fiberglass?

I think they are a hack job b/t the two, cuz the top is def a WJ; but by the cladding, it has to be a ZJ, but i guess I wouldn't rule out fiberglass, or maybe a ton of bondo.
