will take a while to figure out i give that guy mad props for even trying it...
notice how the fenders are still ZJ and only the hood light and bezel changed....
i really like it because the body is still a brick but has the front of the WJ which i really like alot..
too bad nobody is going to try to do this with the WK because its a wack ride lol... well its just my opinion...
but its something about the WK that just kills it maybe the suspension and idk, what else can it be?
It looks like a WJ hood and fender combo, but im guessing for the lights that he used the front clip. I would have to take a looky at some Dubs underhood to eyeball the location of where that would bolt into a ZJ. I really want to do this because I broke out light already and that looks pretty beastly with the Dub front, and projector lights too!
I'm going to go look at out neighbors Dub after dinner. I think they have a 99 or 2000. I think thats the key. I dont think that WJ's have changed much over the production years, they might have slightly, but I wanna check a 99 against later models to see if any major/minor changes took place.
@MoonyJohn: Compare your recent pictures in the Lifted section to the second picture, look how far up he fender is on the A-pillar compared to yours. And the cut on the ZJ fender is too deep (length wise) and tall (height wise) to change it to fit a WJ headlight. Am I saying that the ZJ fender cant be cut to fit a WJ headlight, no, it could probably be done, will it look good? Depends.
Stealing bigblue's zj, fraser1986brown's zj and 311WJ's wj for compare.
Look at the rise on that a-pillar on the WJ front end ZJ jeep compared to bigblue's or fraser's
Now compare the WJ front end ZJ to a regular ole WJ. The fender rise at the A-pillar gives it away.
I believe its a WJ hood as well because of the swoop up at the part of hood closest to the windshield. As seen in 311WJ's picture.
