ZJ or WJ

I have 2 ZJ GC,s. A 98 Limited and a 99 Orvis ( regsitered in 99 here in the UK) . I am considering changing one of them for a WJ. No specific reason really except to have a later model.
My question, is the WJ a genuine improvement on the ZJ ? I have read a few posts on forums from owners who have gone back to a ZJ from a WJ.

Our WJ handles the road better and the 4.7ho motor is very quick but other than that its about the same but has more problems. My ZJ has been much more reliable, lots of electrical gremlins in the WJs.

Current jeeps:
1997 ZJ Orvis
1997 TJ 4.0L 5-speed
1993 YJ Sahara Trail Rig

after the ZJ years GC's were nothing to write home about...I personally like the bodystyle of the ZJ...the WJ just looks like they tried to round off every single straight line on the ZJ...as a general rule of thumb i would never get the first year model of a new bodystyle...get one 2 or 3 years after the new bodystyle with all the kinks worked out if you do get one
