Zj vic freakout

I'm thinking a loose connection but has anyone seen this before?

I had a bad capacitor in mine. I think it did what yours is in the picture for a day and then went out completely. The capacitor was obviously bad so I grabbed one from Frys and changed it out. Works fine now.

Solder joints are notoriously poor on these jeeps, especially the vic. May be easier to grab another one from a JY.

1996 ZJ Green Laredo V8, 2.5" OME and Bilsteins, 33's, Holes drilled in the roof.
1998 ZJ 5.9 - Junked
1984 F250, 460 BB, T19, work truck/future tow pig
1987 Mercedes 300D Turbo, the diesel daily, 30mpg in style

ok, guess i have some more work to do this weekend.

on another note, whats the deal with the "coolant sensor bad" sign that i've had on it for 4 years?

Again, bad solder joint. The connection between the VIC and the sensor in the reservoir usually goes bad.
