If your going to do any type of lift and the jeep has the cv front drive shaft, swap it out. Second, you may want to think about swapping in a 231 or 242 transfer case as well.

the fake "coolant sensor bad" message on the VIC

stalling because of random electrical gremlins

the 02 sensor harness around gets caught in moving parts or exhaust which, in turn, kills the PCM

see jasons list of common problems

I think VIC might be HAL's little brother. "Open the pod bay doors HAL".

I would check all the ground wires. If any power windows, door locks, alarm have problems check the wiring harness in the drivers door jamb first. Every ZJ my girlfriend and I have owned (4) has had a broken wire in the drivers door wiring harness. Sometimes in the passenger door as well.

Water pumps seem to go every few years. I carry a spare crank position sensor in my glove box, but have never had to use it yet....... A long list of things documented on this board.
