ZJ snorkel

Guys , I'm about to order a snorkel for my ZJ 1993

I know there is not an arb snorkel for this model and I found a site at nagca about using an SS720HF snorkel for that ZJ

Question : Any of you have installed another model of snorkel from arb ??

Thanks!

I honestly haven't seen many snorkles on here. Not many mudders mostly rock crawlers or stock plus our interiors don't hold up too well when below water!
But seriously, I also think that because we're lifted higher than a TJ for fitting the same size tire we have less breather height issues than TJs or WJs.

I'm gonna build one this spring, admittedly, it will probably be PVC homebrew.

I'll reroute all the breathers to it to get them up higher as well.

I personally would prefer some kind of cowl induction system over a snorkel. Just need to figure out an easy and cheap yet good looking way to do it.

I learned a long time ago that I can't walk on water and try my best to stay out of the deep end.

Well said.

I think a simple pipe up to the cowl would sufice on any jeep.

Any higher then that and your up to your neck.

On NAGCA, the write-up uses an snorkel for an X-terra.

A little high but it works . I believe he made this attachable to the stock airbox. He removes it when hes done with the water crossing. Think his winch remote would work?
