I have had my 93 Grand Cherokee for almost 2 years now and have not done any upgrading. PO upgrades: Some Flowmaster muffler Off brand intake(replacing with stock air box this weekend)

Replaced/Repairs:
-Rear main seal in original engine. (too little too late)
-Replaced with used engine with about 30k less miles than the original.
-Replaced Oil pump

-Repaired rear hatch opening mechanism
-Replaced Head Lights for some nice non-oxidized ones
-Replaced PCM (found perfect match on second try at JY.)
-Oil sending unit.
-Front Calipers

Near Future:
-Front pads and rotors
-Rear shoes

That crimped blue elbow on the intake looks quite restrictive. Why not get a proper one?

Got the trac bar swapped out yesterday. She rides much nicer now. Next on the repair is brakes all the way around and rotors up front.

Add thermostat and flush to my list for the weekend.

Temp has been looking better since the temps have been above freezing. Well until tomorrow.

Cleaned the throttle body and finally got the stock air box on. Hopefully breaks and rotors go in tomorrow.

The two PCV valves on the valve cover need replace bit I can't find the part on O'Reilly's site. Does anyone know the part number?

front one is a 90 degree elbow rear is a special one and may have to go to dodge its got an 1/8 inside diameter its cheap dont worry. clean the front one assuming you can get it out without breaking it and get two grommets. The back one is a serious pita to remove be prepared to remove the valve cover it a broken piece falls in.

Front one is easy in/out. Cleaned it a little today. Had major build up. I haven't messed with the back one yet. Maybe tomorrow.

So I have created a slight issue. My back driver side door would not open from the outside to I sprayed it down with some PB and tried working the latch. In my infinite wisdom I at one point put the child lock on. Needless to say I can not open from the out side or inside now. Anyone have any suggestions?

Door won't open at this point because of child lock being on. Breaks and Rotors: Nice little line in the passenger side outside pad image-1636644652.jpg The matching rotor: bottom of post Grooves from pads image-3656791249.jpg Driver side all bolted up: image-3565230592.jpg Engine with stock air box back in: image-2612621191.jpg Maintenance is getting caught up. Next sunny day will be thermostat, core flush and harmonic balancer. Then the BB, shocks, Cragar soft 8s, tire rod ends and an alignment.

You may be able to remove the panel with the door shut if your creative enough and patient enough and use the bar that goes from the outside handle to the actuator.
