Zj Side Mirrors

So someone hit my side mirror so I figure I'd buy it online instead of having the body shop charge an arm and a leg for it. My current mirrors are power, non memory, and not heated, and they fold front ways. But all the ones online for that year (98) say heated. I was wondering if the heated ones would fit the non heated plug on my jeep. Or is it a separate plug, i haven't taken it apart yet.
Thanks!

EDIT: I read that the heated mirrors come on with the defroster, so now how do I tell if i do?? lol I thought I knew my jeep..
Also the plugs for the heated and NH one looked the same from what I can see.. so confusing..

My 96 Laredo uses one plug for the heated power mirrors. Look on eBay, they may have what you need.

Does you mirror have a red plug? Local junk yard would be way cheaper than new or I could sell you one of mine for 20$ plus shipping if you have pay pal. The one I have looks as pictured

yeah, I dont think its the same plug. But I read if I put heated ones it works with the defroster so it may work even if I dont have heated ones now. I wont know what my plug looks like until I take the panel off.. still waiting for some nice weather for that

The mirrors should have a little "defroster" symbol on them if they are heated.

Laredo's have the basic power mirror's. Limited's had heated (I think the had memory not sure)and the 5.9's had heated, memory and the drivers mirror had that antireflective crap inside it..

Altho im sure some laredo's could have heated as well if they get a higher trim package from the factory.

My 93 base model has heated mirrors. The mirrors are spliced into the rear defroster before the fuse panel. They actually don't have a fuse. To tell if you do or don't, there will be a much larger gauge wire running to your mirror in the bundle. Like I think it is 10 or 12 gauge and the rest are 14 or 16.

My 96 laredo has heated mirrors. You have to get one from a 96-98. I found this out when I broke one against a tree and tried to swap in one from a 94. Bolted up fine but the harnesses are different.
