thanks

if your talkin bout the rough country one from IRO id say you need to get yourself a rear adjustable trackbar. and maybe front upper adjustable control arms. also maybe rear swaybar extended links.

i was thinking about getting a rear adjustable trackbar, but are the rear swaybar extended links necessary?

at 5", Ask Rough country for the upper front control arms or you will have front pinion angle issues. Next, be advised that you will break that front prop shaft or CVstyle driveshaft that jeep put in the v-8s , the length can not be adjusted. you will have to change to a u-joint style for about 75$ if you hit the junk yard. 50$ drive shaft out of a I-6 WITH THE 249. And then the yoke out off any zj d30 that does not use the prop shaft as a front ds.=$25

If you add the BB to your 4 inch lift, you're looking at new:

Brake lines
adjustable control arms
extended links for swaybars front and rear (they should be within +/- of 15 degress of level for best handling)
trackbars, if you don't already have them.

and, once you go to 33s, you'll wonder where your torque and acceleration went. If you are thinking of regearing, do the traction aids at the same time. Why? because you are already in the same area and won't have to break into the diffs more than once.

alright i have direct experience with this and this kit will work with a 1" BB on top of it if you replace both front and rear t-bars. the rear is necissary because the rear RC bracket is the biggest downfall of that kit. it breaks bolts, i even drilled it out and installed some beefy hardware and it still broke bolts. i wouldnt run the RC kit alone with that rear bracket. ooh X2 on the drive shaft.

I did the same thing except used added 2" boost. I did get an adjustable track bar and upper adj. front control arms. I have a 6 so I cant help you with the other stuff. I used the XJ discos from RC and they worked and had the proper length. They are made for four or six inch lifts. Although, I have mine in the 4" holes.

Looking at doing the rc 4" plus 2" spacers on a 93...6 cylinder. It's strictly an off road rig i don't care how it does on the street. Just looking to clear 33" boggers without rubbing. I'm not worried about swaybars...but do i need extended brake lines or track bars? What about the t-case drop? Any help appreciated.

i'm a half inch lower but i don't have extended brake lines. on top of the rc kit i had to get a front adj tb, i use hte kits sway bar end links but they arent exactly long enough haha i use them anways for now, and i havent needed a tcase drop but each rig is different.

also, if its strictly offroad then it won't matter but my rear axle is off about a 1/4" so i should get an adjustable rear tb but don't feel like spending 140 bucks for a 1/8" shift. and the 33"s should clear, i have 32"s and feel i could get 33"s under there no problem, so that extra half inch should definately clear them

im currently at 3.5" on my 5.9. just got 33's and am pretty much doing this. im adding a 2" bb to my lift now for 5.5" ish. i already have both adj. track bars and extended sway bar links. all im adding is some control arms from IRO and the BB. Nice way to clear my rubi's and 33's. As for the control arms im not positive on wat im doing yet im still on stock at 3.5" lift. thinking lower fixed with upper adjustables or maybe spring for full adjustables if i have the loot.

as for gearing all of you with i6's and 33's kinda stinks but im gonna be running 33's with my stock 3.73's with my 5.9 v8 so i dont think ill have torque issues. Its fast as is with a lift and 31's.
