ZJ radiator install, best spark plugs, bumper guard install
I own a 1997 ZJ with a 4.o litre engine. It has 150k and runs well.
1) I need to replace the radiator. Anyone have an exploded view as I am unsure how to get inside there
2) What is the concensus on which plugs work best with 1997 ZJ 4.o liter blocks?
3) I also bought a great looking bumper guard. How do I remove the front lights and grill so I can instal it? Anyone have an exloded diagram?

I would suggest you go to your local parts store and buy a Chilton or Haynes Manual, they will show you how to remove all of the above and come in real handy when making repairs to your Jeep. Oh yeah they only cost like 15-20 bucks.

I have the 4.0 and replaced my plugs with Champion truck plugs. I am pretty happy with them.

Wal-Mart has Haynes manuals for $ 13.11
Removing the tranny lines is the most difficult part of removing the radiator. You just have to view which type of connector it has, and look it up in the manual for removal.
Any spark plug, with the SAME heat index, is the best spark plug.

this forum is not helpful when someone ask for pic no one has any. no one can put in a radiator from reading a pages on here. i have been ask for pic myself but i get no respones. so i have no idea how to put in a radiator so i have to mess with it because "NO" one has pic. so when i get done i will put pic up. "hayanes is not helpful" people like us need videos not sentences on how to do it.

That's not really a fair statement . Alot of us just aren't photographers. I find this site extremely helpful in that you you get a blend of opinions and ideas, not to mention that some are very , very , experienced in jeep problems. There was a day when you read a book, and tried to apply what you read and learned. If you didn't succeed you backed up, asked more questions, and tried again.
This way you actually learned something rather than watching a video say take nut "A'' screw on bolt "B". I've never owned a jeep until now and if it wasn't for this forum I would have blown it up by now.
As far as the radiator, on my 98 the most important tool was a set of fitting wrenches,to get the trans lines loose. Even then it wasn't an easy task. So you want a video of me cussing and slinging the wrench up the driveway?

if you can't figure it out from some instructions, take up needlepoint and let the people who can work on your stuff.
radiator replacement is VERY easy.
