ZJ A-Pillar Light Mounts

So, I found a guy who makes A-pillar light mounts for the XJ and said he had a set made up for the ZJ, just needed to take pictures of the install and get the hardware together before he could sell them. I'm wondering how long anyone has been waiting for these things? I ordered a pair of Lightforce 170 Strikers to go on the pillars but they've just been sitting around as I wait for these mounts. Here's the link:

My thoughts exactly, I like the mounting idea of inside the door frame.

X2 on price. I'd rather have lights on my A pillar than on my roof.

5.9 ZJ with some stuff

I agree, but it seems like this is the only guy that even makes them.

Yeah i can't seem to get any definite answer on when these are coming out either, I sent the company a message over facebook about a week ago asking and never got anything back. I'm dying to buy these things.

well i just asked if anyone has ever mounted lights there....and i got one response telling me to mount them on the roof rack....but i would never be able to use them that high.....my state law says no lights mounted higher than 42" can be turned on....so roof lights would be a waste

The thing is is that it's really not a hard design to follow. I bet if you could get them made locally for less but it's the convenience that I would pay for. Of course anyone with a welder can make then out of scrap in a pinch. 50 bucks is steep IMO. Ahh what ever. I guess ZJ owners are going to pay out the butt no matter what. I am just glad I don't have a JK or WJ.

Damn near every wrangler on the planet has lights mounted there, so, yes, it works and is doable. There are a few zj's here with this mod already (their own fab).
