ZJ KOR Radiator Support

Well I'm going to be replacing my radiator with a metal 3-row one and would think it may be a good idea to put in a KOR radiator support while it's out. I'm curious on what the major benefit of this? It simply has a stronger bottom brace and does it cover the bottom of the radiator's open area? Are the tow hook mounting points that much stronger than the factory locations?

it just braces the bottom of the radiator. doesnt restrict any flow. the benefits are protects the bottom of your radiator and it gives you 2 solid front tow points. KOR rated at 65k lbs and factory are 55k lbs

Bringing an old thread back just because I have related question. Will the KOR support work with the new Iceland Offroad fiberglass bumpers? Been thinking of getting one of those in time, but this looks like a good current upgrade. I wonder if you can install this without having to pull the plastic bumper cover off. That'd be a pain in the you know what, especially if I'll have to pull it again when I can afford the Iceland bumper. Don't really like the cover-free look, but it might be what I do if I have to. Bleh. Plastic is just bad. You can remove steel and replace it, but plastic always ends up cracking, bending, breaking, snapping on me. I hate removing anything plastic. I just can see the little plastic retention snaps all breaking so it doesn't reinstall right. Can you get those anywhere aftermarket?

ya... you need to take the bumper off. believe your will have to play around with any bumper that will be using KOR radiator support behind it
