I'm running a Flowmaster 70 with a turndown. It sounds great and I believe it's also what Kolak recommends. Make sure you specify 2.5" pipes, even if you aren't replacing the manifold yet. If you get a header in the future it will save some money over having all the pipes replaced.

Also, if you get a turndown put on, make sure they add an exhaust hanger near the end so all the weight isn't on the pipes/cat/muffler.

hi,
i have an hi-flo cat (magnaflow) and i'd like to remove the muffler to get some performance and sound.
what do you think about removing the muffler?
will it be much louder?
any advices?

I'm ordering my 3" exhaust from kolak within the next few days, getting the magnaflow hi flow catalytic converter, a large case magnaflow muffler, rolled edge chrome magnaflow tips and mandrel bent piping. Ill let you know how it is after I get it installed. I got all that plus both upstream and downstream mopar o2 sensors all shipped to my door for $550

Anyone done dual exhaust on a 5.2?

I saw a ZJ driving that had dual pipes... couldn't stop to see how he'd done it.

Seems like it would be a bear to route the left pipe.

i ran a no cat 18 inch glasspack on my zj 4.0 with 3.25' tip. sounded nice after it broke in
