ZJ dies for no apparent reason

Excuse me since I'm a newbie to the Jeep world. I do alot of work on Mitsubishi Eclipse Turbos but none so far on my Jeep. I have a 94 Grand Cherokee 4liter with 115,000 miles in really good shape. My problem is that my ZJ will die repeatedly while driving and then start a few minutes later. The problem is no spark. I've replaced the cap, rotor, wires, plugs and coil. Still dies and then starts minutes later. Any ideas?

Shill,

Good guess is crank angle sensor, not uncommon for that age and mileage. Check before replaceing to ensure that that is the problem. A very good place to start.

Clyde,

Thanks. That affirms one of the causes I had come up with after reading my Chiltons. I'll start with that sensor. Thanks
