yea thats what i may do. Swap both rears go with the 3.73 since im going ith 31 or 32" tires anyway. Should help a little over the 3.55 gears i have now. I was just wondering what i would need for the back. The front will be a direct bolt in and go. Rear will bolt in or course but my questions were with the driveshaft.

I did the 44a swap, and then had to go back to the JY to get the donor jeeps front axle so I could get my 4wd back. Its probably cheaper to get both axles at once, that way you dont have to pay as much, they might give you a discount.

As for the driveshaft issue, my back had to go in with me standing on the back tow hitch ball so that it will wiggle into place. Im sitting a 3" so you will definitely want to pick up the driveshafts if possible.

Awesome. ill be up about 3.5" when the rear swap is done. Going to do the rear and lift at the same time. Makes more sense. I can grab both axles with both driveshafts for about $200 out of a 98 limited 5.2 Local guy parting the truck but doesnt know how to take it apart lol. Ill have to remove it all but thats better anyway. Make sure i get everything. Ill even get all the control arms springs and whole front steering set up. Cant beat it. Thanks guys!
