ZJ Clicks first turn of the key, cranks and turns over second turn

Hey guys brand new battery and starter, both were showing signs of going bad and giving me fits starting (dead spot on the starter and the battery wasn't holding a charge, both were under warranty replaced them), now when i turn the key the first turn gives me the single click like the starter is having issues, then i turn the key a second time and it cranks and turns over no problem.

not a big deal, tiny nuisance i can get used to fast but would rather figure out why so i don't get stranded somewhere one day

Brand new starter doesn't mean it will work properly. Last time I did one I had to return it 3 times before I got a good one.
Also check your battery terminals and grounds for corrosion.

Yeah I'm clean as a whistle up there I cut the terminal clamps about a year ago and put those brass or whatever clamps on in its place. I figured that could be the choice, that's annoying I shoulda had the hind sight to have them test it right out of the box since the last one was just a hair over 2 years before going
