ZJ bumper covers/rocker trim.....line-x vs. paint?

I'm wanting to blackout bumpercovers and lower plastic trim pieces on my ZJ, but line-x shop says their product won't adhere to the plastic, unless you encase the entire piece with the line-x spray....so, i thought about painting them all satin black, but line-x would be so much cooler....any suggestions or ideas?...does anyone know if mr. line-x is full of IT, or just too lazy to do the job?!

I'd pass on line-x on an exterior components, bedliner tends to be pretty hard to clean, and honestly, the texture doesn't look all that great.

The satin black would look much nicer and be easier to clean.

just from experience make sure you sand those panels down VERY WELL. if you just scuff it....like a dumba** i was it will peel like no other. but imho line-x etc looks very very good. and your line-x guys are just lazy. because it adheres very well.

This is the audi that has the whole thing bed lined

Here is the product, you can tint it to any color you want. It feels smooth but looks coarse.

raptor is the stuff our body shop in ohio used exclusively . thats a great product. very user-friendly... and the point that it can be tinted w/ your factory paint makes it great for keeping a stock appearance on certain rigs
