Search for the knockoff CAD blueprints floating around out there. Sketch up or something? Its a good design of a front zj bumper, with all the pieces you need to cut out.

Other than that, heres mine.

Front is an rlc.

Rear is a kevins knockoff.

And a naked zj front end. See the two oval holes in the sheet metal below the grille? Most (if not all) hd bumpers mount into those, and sandwhich the outer frame rail. If you have tow hooks, look at how they mount.

^^^^ His bumpers on the black ZJ are sweet - seen them in person. Too bad he didn't bring the gal on the red ZJ along with him for the visit!

Did you ever throw them on the scale? I am curious how much they weigh.

Has anyone ever made their bumper out of aluminum? Some time ago one of my brothers friends had an aluminum bumper made for his dodge ram. Just wondering how thick it would have to be and if because of the thickness it would end up being as heavy as steel.

Rustys used to offer an all aluminum zj bumper about 2 years ago. It looked a tad bit like an arb, but all polished aluminum. They didnt really have much info on it, and i could never find much more before it disappeared. Anybody know what im talking about?

Im getting together with a friend of mine today to look at everything and see what we need. So inside the ovals in the front of the frame is the way to go?

Yes, you'll have to grind the ovals out so you can fit the mounting brackets in
