zj build help

I just wanna take some advise or opinions about my jeep so far I have a custom 3 inch lift with 33x12.50x15 bfg mud terrains. Rear quarters are rolled I have pro comp es1000 hydro shocks upgraded front anti swaybar links I had a few people look at the number plate on my rear and people have told me its a dana 41??? I still need a few more things this pay I will be ordering a 4.5 rough country lift a 3000 pound winch a custom hand throttle and rock sliders if I can find em cheap.

Unless someone swapped axles on it, you have a D30 in the front and a D35 in the rear. The D44a didn't come along until 1996 and only if you have a V8 at that point. Every ZJ prior to that had the D35.

Why are you looking at a 3000lb winch? That is grossly under rated for your Jeep...

It wouldn't be used for anything crazy only thick mud if I get stuck I lost my 96 cherokee cuz it sat in a puddle to long and the motor went I don't want that happening again

If you arent going to get stuck, then theres no need for a winch

Everyone is going to tell you that 3k is def not enough for a zj, much less one fighting the suction of mud. Im looking at 8k as a minimum
