ZJ: Black nipple on my dome light...?

Is that for a keyless entry? If so, can I replace the fob or no?

Yes, that is the IR receiver for the keyless entry.
You can get replacement fobs, just make sure it's the right type.
Instructions for programing it can be found in the FAQ thread.

It is for the keyless entry.
Keylessride.com sells replacement fobs for pretty cheap.

You can also get fob on ebay, but the times I saw them, they were crazy money or people bidding them up big time.

It is pretty useless though as the range is like 5-10 feet tops. Stupid IR technology. You have to have a direct line of sight for it to work. The newer ones use RF frequency and have much better range.
