zj bi-xenon headlights



Is there anyone who knows a tutorial out there or can walk me through how to do these?!

They look soooo sick.

I remember that thread....a guy on here used his zj headlamps and took them apart and added the projectors from a bmw I think and fabbed it all up and put it back together. I do like the idea of projectors...but it so much easier to just buy a set of euro style headlamps fro zj's and add dual HID's to them. I did.

i saw that awhile back...
love the idea, would hate to pay for everything..
i think the euro style headlights, which nash mentioned, provide a great beam of light. compared to stock. and could handle HIDs

I've seen those dual filament bulbs.... i forgot where... they were advertised here on jeep forum

I was talking about xenons. They dont have filiaments as far as I know. They are gas. You can fit 2 but the style in that pic is one big, one small. I think the smaller one would just suck. Use a high beam out of a audi or BMW and adjust it well. You will not need a high beam.

Bi-xenon headlamps use a single xenon lamp to produce both the high beam and the low beam. The full light output is used to produce the high beam, while the low beam is formed by moving a shutter between the bulb and the lens, thus blocking off a portion of the light.

Those headlamps in the pic definitely look like 2 xenons.

but people. do urself a favor first.. convert to 9007 bulbs
they have the same connection style, and are much brighter..
iv heard you only need to cut, and switch the ground and low wires
simple
im going to attempt it soon
