ZJ alternators vs. the rest
I'm looking to get a high-output alternator for my ZJ, like a Powermaster which puts out 110 amps at idle vs. the stock alternator which puts out a max of 90. Looking at prices, I saw that for Wranglers and Cherokees it's in the range of $100-125. The same alternator to mount in a Grand Cherokee runs about $450. Anybody know why the same thing is so much more for a ZJ?
