Cutting the coil springs IS NOT going to give you more flex, in fact you will get less. PHYSICS my friend PHYSICS.

hunter what shocks are you running on your rig.I am just about to b at 5.5 on all adj upper n lowers, just deciding on what shocks to get. pretty much best bang for the buck kinda deal thanks

I'm about to have between 5-5.5 " on my Zj with all 8 adj. CA's and quick discos up front. I've got 4.5" RE spring up front and the are only netting 1.25" lift passenger and .75" on driver side. I did the front to rear and noticed rear wheels are out of alignment but front looks alright. My question is - sort of along this topic line- what am I missing for 5.5" of lift? Do I need an adj. Track bar and bracket for the rear? And any ideas what's going on with the front causing my springs to stay compressed? Also track bar?
