ZJ 5.5 inch lift question

Is anybody running about 5-6 inches of lift on their ZJ's without using long arms?? I just put on my coils and it lifted the front end just under 6 inches. I wanted to see if anybody is running this without swithing over to long arms.

im at 5.5 with short arms. i feel every crack and crevis in the road, but so far so good. Im just waiting for my CA brackets to get ripped off the unibody or axle. all the more reason for LA's in the future.

Hunter, you should paint that fender grey, it looks goofy. Or take all the cladding off and Herc-line it!!!

I've got longer fixed LCAs. nothing but stock for the uppers . I guess there is only one way to find out and that is to install it all and see how it works.

your pinion angles are going to be pretty poor with longer LCA's and stock uppers.

most fixed CA's ive seen are the same length as stock. what brand are they?

I am going to cut the coils down so I just get 4 inches. The coils are from a ford F150. I know stiff ride, but they were available. anyway between my trac bar (superlift) and the bad angle the control arms are at, I'll play it safe. one day I'll build long arms after more research.

Cutting coils is pretty dangerous. I say sell them and buy some real lift coils.

call me dumb but educate. Why would it be dangerous if i take off a piece with a cut off wheel? It won't shatter will it?
