I was driving home from work yesterday and some guy had his girl honk at me, then yells out the window "What you got in the way of lift?" ... and I was thinking "What?" but answered "3.5 inches" without thinking, to which he replies "Looks nice, man!" or something to that effect.

I seem to get that a lot... I'm probably closer to 4.5" I don't know, maybe it's the trimmed front bumper? Or maybe my roof lights?

When they make more channels/nooks-and-crannies on the body for collecting tree crap/dirt than you can shake a stick at.

I live in the woods but don't park directly under trees. Constantly cleaning out the channel where the lift gate hinges are, small water channel next to the rear opening which empties on the tail lights, rear louvers, HVAC air intake grate below the windshield, HVAC box drain line (drilled hole to do this), drain hole below left of PCM, etc.. The absolute worst is trying to clean out the leaves/tree debris from the pockets where the back of the hood corners cover. Have to use long needle-nose, shop vac, etc, to clean out and unplug the drain hole.

Don't clean these areas out and just watch the body rust away.

When despite a 68 page thread about mostly quirks with your car, you still wouldn't trade it for any other

Hah.....I toyed with the idea of taking my 99 Dodge minivan body and grafting it onto a ZJ subframe........Then realized I don't have that kind of money. But the thought was kinda cool.

I just asked him how it felt to be pulled out of the sand by a van. He sat there looking as dumb as his blinged out h2
