I'm sitting at roughly $12k now with mine. I hate knowing that I spent that much in it. It reminds me that there's no way I can ever sell it because of all the money I'd lose.

I've probably only got 4k in mine, including repairs and mods. Now if you include gas then i'd say 6k or more.

When: Your out with friends and you decide to take one vehicle, so without anyone asking whose driving everyone automatically hopes in with you

Happens to me all the time. What's bad is when you're friends fight about who gets to sit up front with the heated seats lol

I'm about $6,000 into my Laredo all told. I don't imagine I can sell it for much more than $1500 if I'm lucky.

I need that $1500 though, so I can spend $6,000 to buy another ZJ.

THE CYCLE CONTINUES

Over the 3.5 years I've owned mine, I've put a little over 31000 miles on it. Assuming 13.5 mpg, which is probably pretty accurate for mine, and an average of $3.50/gal, I've spent about an additional $8040 in fuel. I think my fuel cost assumption is probably a little low though. The first 2 years I owned it gas was between $3.80 and $4.30. It's tapered off recently to around $3.50 and very recently has been about $3.10.

I'm scared to figure out what I have in mine lol. And I'm not even close to done with mods I have kept all my receipts for parts tho so some day I'll shock myself with a number... OT I know I drive a zj when I warm it up ten minutes in the - 5 weather and my power steering pump reflects the feeling I have about working outside all day(as it groans lol)

Doing that math for mine leads to: Just shy of 60k miles, lifetime average mpg around 14 - 15, average gas price around $3.80. That's between $15k and $16k in fuel in just under 4 years

Until now, this past year my ZJ had been sitting almost exclusively with the exception of trips to off road parks, club events, etc. If it was my daily during that time, I probably would have had to sell it. I drove almost 30000 miles in 10 months.
