People here drive for crap all year round, not just in the winter. I'd be afraid though if I got hit, someone would just go right under me and hit my gas tank. I really need to finish "rustproofing" my skids and get them back on. I know that wouldn't stop my tank from getting damaged, but it could prevent it or at least lessen the damage.

I had this a-hole in a pontiac tailgating me down town when I lived back east. I was going the speed limit and he was about 1 foot from my bumper. I was driving my old ZJ with 4.5" lift and 33's. There were lot s of people walking about so I plowed my brakes and his car went under me into the receiver hitch and skid. I wasn't drinking so I stopped the truck and called the cops. He got taken to jail for a DUI and other traffic violations. No damage to my ZJ but his hood was toast.

And yall think its bad up there, try driving for a week in South Florida. I brake checked a tailgater and at the next light, he pulled a crowbar out and said he would "Kick my ***" if I did it again. Figured out it's best just to be level headed and let the *******es just keep going

That's why there's a .45 under the seat

I just yank the hand brake. Slows down the Jeep fast enough to get them off your butt but doesn't turn on the brake lights so they can't react. Most tailgaters watch for brake lights like a hawk but no brake lights with the hand brake. If that doesn't work I just take my foot off the gas until they go away.

no offense but you should change that attitude before you even think of carrying.

agreed, I'm just aggravated by some things at work and people at school today...I apologize if I offended anybody...I just have a pet peeve about people who act stupid...especially behind the wheel of a car.

+1. Nothing says go away like a .45 through the ribcage.

You just have to act crazier than him. If he gets out and comes at you, get out and yell like you're crazy and run at him. I guarantee he'll either get back in his vehicle and leave, or shoot. One or the other...

In all seriousness though, I've pretty much got all of that crap out of my system. Occasionally someone will really piss me off and I'll say something to them at a stoplight, possibly start yelling at them, but I usually just take a deep breath and try to focus on letting my blood pressure drop back down.
