Take your doors off, I don't run doors on my XJ and when they're off I get waves from almost every Jeep and get my picture taken by lots of non Jeepers. When the doors are on, I am just another city dweller with an SUV.....

When your replace your oil pressure sensor and your rear wiper starts to work. I thought the motor was shot cause it hadn't worked since I bought it.

When you pay $500 for it, and believe it will pass the 500,000kms mark. Another 80,000 to go and she's still got a strong engine. It's hard to build on tho cause I don't want to waste money and time. I've been keeping my eyes out for a v-8 to swap in.

I think im going to rip out the radio and use the space it occupied for a CB.
Its already got key dependent power running to it, and its out of the way.

I use my baofeng for FM most of the time anyway. (great little HT for $35 btw, grabbed it to scan with while im studying for my tec. Lic)

When you read this: http://www.boycottowl.com/Jeep/92

and think to yourself: your are b****ing about a $50 part and hour long job on your liberty but yet are ZJ's are mostly more capable and have 100 times more problems.

Still can't believe people are trying to protest for that

Im sorry that you do not want to have to do upkeep on a vehicle. I wish them in the best of luck finding a vehicle they have to do absolutely no maintenance on. Ill continue to make it rain on my zj. (Shes like a girlfriend. Always wants new and shiny things). And love my Jeep. People irritate me *****ing about things they dont get for free.

The sliders in the window tracks in my Caprice are prone to breaking. You know what the fix is? Obviously it's not going to the dealer. You read on a forum, find out what replacement part is better than the sliders, see there's a more durable roller that fits in the track, buy 8 of them, take all your doors apart, and replace them all. Sure it's a day's worth of work, but it's fixed for good. I bet it's a similar problem with the KJs. I'm sure it's something stupid and the majority of the $500 is mostly labor.

All vehicles with power windows are prone to window motor failure but people demand comfort.
