It's one of those things that can go without fixing..new hinge pins and bushings?

That sounds really cheap and easy..might have to do this!

It is! Hardest part is cutting off the old pin with a Dremel.

Young drivers always have expensive insurance, your point? It's life.

Don't blame young drivers for speed though. Hell my dads 52yrs old and has a ZJ. He drives pretty fast. You just seem like the person I fly and flip off at the same time for going under the speed limit.

Yep, that's life, which WAS my point.

Anyway, seems like you don't know me at all!
Not going 100+ mph does not equal going under the limit, by any means. You'll understand when you're older.

If you want to kill yourself driving recklessly, that's up to you, and I'll speak well of you at your funeral. Hurt anybody else driving recklessly and I'll piss on your grave.
Now we should probably quit the little flame war, huh?

Lower pin fell out, bushings were in 4+ pieces. Upper pin had to be cut out as I tacked the pin so it couldn't fall out, bushings were also in 4+ pieces....

I'm definitely not flaming by any means. I'm standing my ground, big difference. Understand when I'm older? It won't make a difference of my age. I drive how I drive. Might I mention I have a total of 3 vehicles on my insurance and it's just $120 a month for my Jeep. I afford my insurance monthly without a hassle. I think I can handle a few speeding tickets, but my $300 valentine one radar detector doesn't let me down. I have a built 5.9L Ram on 35s and a 85' K10 on 44s. The only vehicle that isn't on my insurance is the 13 Ram I'm paying for. So if I kill myself, it'll happen. Everything happens for a reason. Go ahead and say I haven't grown up yet, I'm waiting.

Don't have to, you basically said it for me.
But that's ok! We all thought we had it all figured out when we were 18, myself included! As you said, that's life!
Anyway, standing your ground is fine, except that nobody was attacking you.....

I'm more successful than you'll ever be, that's then sad part. I understand business and making money. When I was 16, I has 8 12yr olds cutting grass for me. I made $1200 a week in profit.

And this has exactly what to do with driving a zj? How about we all just get back on topic before one of the moderators gets involved...

He doesn't have anything relevant to say, so he resorts to ad hominem attacks and makes wild (and probably wrong) assumptions about my personal "success".
$4800 profit a month mowing lawns? I call shenanigans on that one. Not possible. But hey, at least I'm not making my money by exploiting child labor!

just to make a point, im 16, and my insurance is only $35 a month. thats with a good grades discount and i did a safe driver program with the insurance company and got another discount.

while insurance price is related to age, i believe its also very related to the vehicle you list as your "primary" vehicle. my "primary" vehicle is a jeep thats worth almost nothing and does not qualify as a "performance" vehicle. i have a buddy (who's family is very well off) his parents bought him a brand new challenger r/t when he turned 16. IIRC he said his insurance is somewhere around 1100/month

Good Lord, that's more than most people's house payment! You know you drive a ZJ when your insurance isn't nearly that high!
