When you can buy a beater 5.2, throw some smart buy parts on it and come out with a decent looking jeep for less than 2grand..

Same here. There's one road that always floods when it rains here. It'll have a good 12" or better every time. Last few times its rained, I've gone out there and seen the same guy in a lifted xj splashing through it

When you hit 100 on an empty freeway, by accident, and the first thing from your mouth is "I didnt know this little ****ing thing could go that fast"

When your ABS light goes OFF and you think you broke something.

Its a Johnny cash song - Engine is 98, trans is 95, body is 96, doors from a 94

Lol.. smart purchased parts I suppose.
Some OME HD Springs and shocks from Kolak some 1.5 spring isolators from amazon and some new wheels and tires combined didnt cost me over 1000.00 and the jeep was only 800.00
Thank you Kolak and Craigslist.

It was a straight stretch of flat highway in the middle of nowhere.

It was less sketchy than you would think

My ZJ seems to get really like "floaty" feeling at around 95, never been anywhere I could push it past that

While I believe that a ZJ can go pretty fast, personally I see no reason to do so. I'd rather keep both my Jeep and my head intact. Probably why insurance is so expensive for you youngsters!

im sure 3.55's and a 4.0 have nothing to do with your grampa type driving right ?

lol

3.73's and a 5.2/5.9 change things a little even if you are ''advanced'' in age

you know you drive a zj when even fellow jeepers dont get it

sr22!

When you can still taste seat material in your mouth, two weeks after getting a DW at 100mph.....

Retreat? Hell, we just got here......
