....when you,ve been driving without 2nd gear, you've removed your front drive shaft because your cv joint is making noise, and you still think you can out perform a 4-runner.

Think? I know I can outperform a stock 4-runner. I've done it. Haha. Ole V6 can't hang with the magnum.

You couldn't hang with my 4Runner

Hmmm. Personally, I'd take that bet. I won't stand down if its a stock vs stock vehicle.

Specs on that 4runner? It'd have to be 02 or newer to even give my ZJ somewhat of a challenge.

271HP and 315TQ, That's it? Running an 05 with a redesigned motor against a 96 with old school technology, totally a fair match up.. I'd run my 01 Ram 1500 5.9L and still beat that easily. It's not stock though, built not bought. I'm easily pushing 380HP and 390TQ. Lets run a 05 Grand Cherokee 5.7L hemi against your 4 runner and see the outcome...

I would give it a go, it feels as quick as my bolt on 6.0 Chevy I had before. Toyotas are deceptively fast for some reason, probably do to them all having 3.73 or 3.90 geared

Buddy of mine has a 6.0 GMC. I keep up pretty good with him in my ZJ. She's quick with the new motor.

Same here. Minus the new motor lol. My buddy had the 6.0 in his cheby and I can keep up with him pretty good. If he gets the jump on me, he'll stay out front but can't pull away from me
