And even then, the ZJ has a heavier engine, tranny, and t-case. Similarly-equipped XJs and ZJs have similar weights.

I'll give you nimbler, but XJs aren't much lighter. They're just smaller and squarer. All the XJ has over the ZJ is its aftermarket and cheapness. Even as cheap as ZJs are, XJs are often cheaper.

You know you drive a ZJ when lacking aftermarket can take a backseat to every other great thing about the Jeep.
Come on bro, you're from the "racing" world. You know every 100 pounds is a 10th of a second. Lighter is lighter. It doesn't matter if win by an ounce or a ton.

The weight difference between XJ and ZJ is a lot bigger than 200 - 300 pounds. A 2wd 2dr 4cyl XJ can be as light as 3k lbs (3300 gets you a 4wd 4.0). The lightest ZJs are around 3700 - 3800 lbs (93 2wd). A loaded niner as about 4300 lbs.

Kbb puts mine at $2400, and its far from rough. But you know how CL is.....list high, take the first reasonable offer.

nope just a ultra clean niner with damn near every mod you could think of on a street niner , id pay it for all the stuff done to it i think its a steal

but then again there would be hardly anything left on it to mod hahaha

not having something to mod or fix is boring sometimes

Mine weighed in at 4400 pounds pretty much on the dot on the scale at Bundy Hill. That's with steel wheels, 31s, IRO control arms & trackbars, and my tools in there. Normally I have my sub in there instea of my tools but the bag weighs about the same as the sub. I'll be adding another 100 pounds for the sliders when I get them installed and another maybe 20 pounds when I get my rear diff skid completed and installed. It actually weighs less than I thought it would.

Go weigh yours, it's over 4,000# guaranteed
