the only thing i envy about wranglers is how cheap off road parts are compared to ZJs.

OT: when you see this ad for cupcakes on your facebook and you think "hey, that looks like a pinion gear"

I wouldn't mind a CJ or full size jeep pickup. I do love my ZJ though!

There is only one thing I'd ever own a Wrangler for, and that's to make a Jurassic Park Jeep. I'm super into movie cars, you see. I also want the JP tour Explorer, the Mach Five, the Delorean Time Machine, and the Warthog from Halo.

Other than that, I really don't see the point in a Wrangler. What can it do that my ZJ can't do better? And, sure, ZJ aftermarket is more expensive, but when a YJ would cost me 5 times as much as what I bought my ZJ for, and with only a 4-cylinder engine, why would I even go that route? Not to mention the TJ's huge price. For the price of a 6-cyl TJ, I could get a niner, lift it, put big tires and better axles with lockers in them, and still have comfy seats and an air conditioner. So I really don't see the appeal for an uncomfortable, overpriced, open-air dumpy thing.

I mean, see my sig.

Ayuh'. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my GF's (dad's) TJ topless on a summer evening, but she LOVES my leather seats and working AC... And my sound system that you can actually hear... And the fact that mine rides 100x smoother... And the fact that I can actually pass people on the highway... And the fact that I get better gas mileage (if only by a little)... And the fact that I don't get completely sideways on the slightest washboard... And the fact that I have leg room... And the fact that I have 4 doors-- that's a BIG one! And the fact that...... well, you get the point

I love my Zj! More so then my 1500 at this point, ....even though I've easily put 3x's the work into it and it 7yrs younger then my truck.....but I wanna get a wrangler Jus so I can have it all opened up for cruises to the beach or creek and all. The humidity kills here in the panhandle so it would prob only get used really on the not so blaring hot days. My Kids love the wranglers too! I know it would prob never perform the way I want. And I'm not comfy with their stability off road,,,,but yes I want one, prob gonna be awhile though cuz I don't want leafsprings!

Let the bashing commence.

96 ZJ sittin up 6" on 35's with 4:56's and a 12k winch. Cuz...why the hell not!?

I was parking at Walmart and I parked beside a black 97 ZJ limited. We immediately started talking about all of the problems we have in common. I even fixed one of his issues in 5 mins. He had 280k miles on the original 5.2L, transmission, and axles.

When you dream of ordering all the parts you need for a suspension rebuild.
