Iirc 75-120 semi synthetic. And fill it until it runs out the fill hole.

My FSM says 75W-140

But I completely realize that it was published quite a while ago and the specs could have changed

The specification is still 75W-140 API GL5 synthetic. I can't remember the quantity, except that if you have the trac-lok diff, you need to also add 1.1 [unit of measure] of Mopar friction additive. It's a small amount, probably oz.

Look for a tag on one of the bolt heads that says you need to add the friction modifier. Trac-Loc axles require a friction modifier to be added.

Best way is to jack up one rear wheel and see if you can turn it with trans in neutral and T-case in 2wd or neutral. If you can turn it then you have an open diff.

If the vehicle is on a hoist check by turning one rear wheel forward. If the other rear wheel turns the same direction you have the Trak Lok. With open diffs the other rear wheel would turn the other direction.

When you take the girlfriend to the movies and the alarm freaks out for no reason and floods the zj so it won't start for 5 mins after you reset the alarm. Making the Girlfriend kinda scared to take the jeep places because its a. jealous of her attention or b. testing her commitment to myself (which means my jeep loves me) or c. Making me pay for picking on the Girlfriend just shortly before ignition fail which means(my jeep loves my Girlfriend and is protective of her. She(the jeep) made me look pretty good since I showed off my quick trouble shooting abilities and saved the day. Simple Zj thing to me...apparently an attractive quality to the Girlfriend.

When everytime you get in it to drive you wonder if the speedometer is going to work. A love tap helps but only if the needle isn't stuck under the peg....haha......you know you own a zj when you know exactly what I'm talking about.....

Dana 35c behind a 242, behind an AW-4, behind a 4.0L Inline Six sitting over a Dana 30, all turning stock 215/75/15 tires and moving a 93 Grand Cherokee to places your truck only dreams of.

When you get 14 months interest free on a new credit card and the first thing you think of is how BA your zj would look with a KOR prerunner front bumper

95 zj 5.2 np242 3.5'' IRO lift, IRO adjustable arms, KOR front trackbar, steering stabilizer and box brace, IRO rear adjustable trackbar, bilsteins, Hughes plenum plate, flow master 40, 31x10.5s on 15'' dc-2 rims
