ouch. that price would be realistic if he had them installed by a shop

So removing my front ds won't damage my vc because I have a 242 tc? I'm sure I do its 2wd 4hi 4 lo partime and fulltime.

the 242 doesnt have a VC. you will be fine. ive been running with no front driveshaft with my 242 for 4 months

im the same, i tell all my friends not to waste their money going to a shop, just let me look at it. 95% of the time i can fix it without needing parts.

Chrysler has a point with this hitch idea though... I got rear ended the other day by some ricer Honda and my rear bumper was flawless and no other problems but his front bumper was fubar. would've liked that insurance money though. definitely could've used it with this recent tranny rebuild lol
