When you figure this makes a good parking spot then realize that you can't get out of the jeep once you're up there

Pic doesn't do it justice... Tires were about chest height

When you're parents give you an early birthday present and you can't wait to use it on your ZJ!

When you haven't had to drive it for a few months during the winter, and the snow has blown 3 or 4 feet around it on the sides and back. A part of me still thinks that if I needed to I would just blow a path to the front to put the battery back in that I pulled out to make sure it didn't freeze, then try backing it out through the snow to the cleared driveway about 40 feet back because the jeep just could make it that far through the snow.

Any other car you would clear the driveway to get it out and all around it. The Jeep just makes you want to try getting it out first, and if it couldn't do it and then got stuck I would admit that I had to clear out around it

LOL...

You know you drive a ZJ when you have a trim-matched top box permanently mounted next to the spare wheel.

When the only reason it's still on the road is that I don't have an indoor storage place for it or the extra $$$ to buy a DD. As soon as those 2 conditions are met, unless something changes drastically, my ZJ is getting taken off the road and going into storage until I'm out of college, etc. It's pretty much falling apart at this point, needs a giant list of stuff, and I have neither the time nor money to catch up on the list. I've been able to keep it from getting bigger, but as soon as I cross something off it, something else comes up.

I live in the foothills of California, drove down to the valley this weekend. This statement could not be more true.

Real life after college sucks. At least the first couple months did. Bills and ****. Plus I had access to the machine shop. I miss that.

...when you realize that the factory fogs are NOT trail rated...

forumrunner_20130325_160455.jpg

Found this after some light duty wheeling yesterday. I didn't even bump it.....had to be one of the water puddles. But they weren't even on so they weren't hot. Idk

Kinda gets me cuz I Jus picked them 2weeks ago and they were flawless!
