Mine's the same way with the Toyo A/Ts, as long as it's not icy or slushy, at which point, getting moving in 2wd is a bit tough. Next year it'll be sitting on proper snow tires for winter though, so it should be even better

Yea, we got all fluffy stuff in NJ right now. No ice or slush. So it's very easy with these tires to go in 2wd.

OT: when you check your crate of fluids and tool box every week to make sure you're prepared for any event.

Nice. I've driven mine in 6" of dry powder without touching 4wd before. That may or may not have included blowing through a few 10 - 12" snow drifts and quite a bit of sideways

Ah. I very much regret not swapping a 231, as I find fulltime to be completely worthless. It's all the downsides of PT and 2wd combined, particularly when driving it any bit hard in the snow. I just leave it in 2 until I need the extra drive traction, then throw it in PT.

I take it easy when in full time. I drive it on the road as if it we're still in 2wd.

Pretty! I like.

When your Jeeps been off the streets for around a month, and you've saved $200 in gas by driving other vehicles.

...when you get waves from other ZJ'ers, but when driving the XJ you get noticed by a different crowd

When you can throw a rod through the crankcase on the way to school, laugh about it in the parking lot,
and drive her home that afternoon
