I use castoral gtx high mileage as well. And Purealator one. Only find the filter at advanced as well. And the oil at walFart. Same as Erik on the price. That. Reminds me I need to change the oil next week

thank you good man. I'm gonna remove Fram tomorrow I got the O rings waiting for me at the dealer. Is there a certain amour of torque for the bolts on the adapter?

Idk torque. Mine seems to leak a lil too. Should be a 1" deep socket, and a thin layer of Rtv prob wouldn't hurt. That's my plan next oil change (the big 3000!)

The cheap Frams (orange can) are still crap. They won't kill an engine, but you can get a better filter for the same $$$. The higher end Frams (particularly the xtended guard) are decent filters though.

I personally use pureones, as they're fairly cheap, easily available, and one of the best without spending a good bit more $$$.

I use mopar filters too. Helps when I just have to walk one dept over to pick it up and I get it at employee cost too.
