you know you drive a ZJ when dome lights flicker on and off, dash lights go dim, the head lights occasionally flicker like blinkers, you go broke in gas money, the window controls need a bangin, the roof liner is comin down, you gotta take a mallet to the sunroof motor, when the transmission doesn't know what gear it needs to be in, and when silly girls didn't think the ZJ was what you meant when you said "i drive a Jeep". but even with all those little issues, I'm still faithful to my '98 ZJ. =')

Probably because the Isuzu Rodeo had D44s with 4.10 gears as standard, making them cheap? That or he likes the extra torque? I dunno, it's a good question. I always figured I'd swap to 3.73's and be happy. The Pathfinder had 4.36:1 gears, though, and that was fun.

Yep the extra torque is the ticket. I have a 4.0 and won't go any bigger than maybe a 32-12.50 31-11.50 most likely. And want lower gearing and lockers.
