They get them for trade ins occasionally and since its so old the Jeep dealership tends to sell em for cheap to get rid of it
It's nice to hear stories like that about how they are still coveted. Especially since last week I was contemplating loading up a bunch of slugs in the 12g and turning mine into Swiss cheese.

Did this last week. I was bragging that $35 in gas got me 75 miles. Lol my buddie was like wow(he had a 4 cylinder)! I just laughed and said 5.9 man.

when you browse all the ZJ guys with lifts and big tires and steel bumpers in envy when you're girlfriend is with you, and she points out "I would like your jeep if it looked like THAT. Why don't you do raise it up like that? And get rid of your hot-wheels wheels!"

No really?? Let me just spend $4000 to get all that installed while I'm in college with no tools and no jack or jackstands or spring compressor or time or money...

though damn if I don't wish my jeep weren't stock with too-small tires...

I've been thinking to do something economical that will at least give me 1 or 2 inches...and maybe replace the tires with 30x9.5...or go to the junkyard and try my luck at getting some 96+ wheels with fair tires on them because she doesn't like mine lol. But I don't wan't to be too cheap and get something that is going to screw up my suspension or break...

I do want to at least get the right size or bigger tires...poor thing looks squatty and pitiful...makes me feel like I have a Patriot...

Good idea to keep it simple, like uc springs or a bb. Well when it comes time, let me know, because iirc youre in houston, and i have the elusive spring compressor you speak of lol.

On topic: when you pull up next to a lifted cookie cutter jk and know the poor f***er driving it is about 30k deep in v6 jeep.

You know that "real" jeeps don't come with a V6.

93 red ZJ 190k 4.0. Spent more money than I should have ...

Isn't red the only color a vehicle should be?
If at first you don't succeed, use more speed.

Or when you buy a new jeep and keep the old one "for parts" but don't actually take parts off it.
