When you see one of those "Texting and Driving KILLS!" signs on the highway you think "you have no idea"

When it's so close to stock, no one gives the Jeep wave back.

When people recognize you by your Jeep. When it weighed 4300lbs off the showroom and now weighs in at 5500 lbs...mods are heavy.

That's BS I wave to all jeep( well xj,wrangler,zj,or any other model that looks like it has seen any offroad use) but living in metro atlanta that equals one wave a week. I stopped when all the "foreign " people kept giving me the finger or the death stare.

What ?! I thought ZJ's weighed around 3500-3600. My Rubicon was pushing 3800 unless the truck scale was wrong. My bro's LJ with 35's, ox lockers, winch and aftermarket bumpers has got to be around 4000.

Okay, point was made, that you add 1K lbs to your jeep. Tjs don't weigh near what a ZJ weighs....wait, let me look that up and get the exact number...hold on.

Exterior of ZJ
  • Maximum towing capacity: 2000 lbs.
  • Maximum payload: 1150.0 lbs.
  • Length: 179.0 in.
  • Ground clearance: 8.2 in.
  • Curb weight: 3530 lbs. Rubicon ?? what, they are heavier....Curb weight: 4104 lbs. Tjs are fattys. Wheel base: 105.9 in.

5 x 25 x 12.50 15 at 81 lbs each = 405
ARb front bumper @ 100 lbs
KOR rear bumper @100 lbs
5.9 motor = at least 10 lbs (ha)
skids
sliderz
extra field expedient parts (?)

Yeah, at least 1K heavier....

You forgot to subtract the weight of the stock tires, unless you keep all the stock tires with you when you go out.

Ummm not point out anything but I know my ZJ pulls a lot more than 2000lbs. Specs says 5000 with class 3 hitch and electric brakes. And that's conservative

I also left out the hi-lift jack, larger air cleaner, IPF lights and antenna topper.

Alright, we'll overlook that then. Don't forget about aftermarket control arms. My IRO arms are a lot heavier than stock arms, as are my adjustable track bars.

When everybody prefers to ride with you due to comfort on the trails or beach!

Got it stuck. It's still stuck. It's so stuck I could call insurance and say it was stolen and no one would ever know. It's so stuck I don't know anyone with a capable enough 4x4 to even to to where I got stuck to winch or yank me out.
