When you have lost count of the # of times you have been pulled over for "improper takeoff" because of the locker chirping the tires around the corner as you take off.

When you ask yourself "Why wash it? I'm just going to get it dirty again."

When your $450 ZJ, in which you have a total of $1500 into (at the time) wins Top 20 award at a Jeep show over the high dollar Wranglers...

Bought mine for 1420$ LOL

Got it stuck. It's still stuck. It's so stuck I could call insurance and say it was stolen and no one would ever know. It's so stuck I don't know anyone with a capable enough 4x4 to even to to where I got stuck to winch or yank me out.

True facts. My dad's Saturn was $12,000 in 2002, the A/C is wimpy and not cold, it's a stick, with manual windows and locks. My Jeep was $1200 in 2012 and has beautifully cold A/C, automagic, power windows, et cetera.

He yelled at me when I got it (I still live with him) because he thought it was a piece of crap. (15 years old, blown muffler, bad door) Personally, I think he was just jealous. I remember back in the 90s, he used to want a green Grand Cherokee Laredo. Then I go and get one...

Actually, there's a funny story regarding green ZJ Laredos and my family...

X2...i think my zj was the biggest and baddest in town. Since ive lowered it to 3.5", I've only seen one more with bigger tires than mine, but less lift. Looks ridiculous if u ask me.

They've really got a lot of cool attributes. They all come standard with brake lock differentials which act like lockers. It's not quite as good as a locker, but it monitors wheel spin and applies the brakes accordingly to get the differentials to send equal power to both wheels. They all come with 32"s except for the base sport model. And one of my personal favorites is they're body on frame. It's not a ZJ, but they're cool vehicles. I really want one if my wife doesn't let me get another vehicle and keep the ZJ when I get start a career. If I can keep the ZJ, I'll probably end up with a WK2 or maybe, dare I say it, a car...
