YJ tank for neighbors ZJ

Was wondering if anyone knows if a YJ gas tank will fit a 96 ZJ. I have done the searches and can not find anyone that has done it and my gut feels like they are different tanks. I have an extra tank from my YJ build and my neighbor has an ZJ that needs a tank. If it will work I will give him the tank. Thanks

You might could make it work, but they are not the same tank. They are rather differently shaped
